We are located in Val di Lima, just a few minutes from the city of Lucca, an area that boasts beautiful naturalistic destinations, as well as the nearby Garfagnana, a small and green historical and geographical region, the Serchio Valley. Two valleys that make up a large, unique and evocative area with characteristics among the most interesting in Europe, both for those who love the mountains, greenery, nature, culture, history, personal care and well-being, but also for those who prefer so-called active holidays and experiences, during the holidays or on weekends, throughout the year.
In Val di Lima the beautiful " Acqua Park " deserves a mention, in Garfagnana there are various adventure parks, wonderful paths for walking and trekking, excursions by mountain bike or on horseback.
You can also enjoy birdwatching or more or less demanding sports, including rafting, canoeing / kayaking in waters and/or torrents, then downhill and cross- country skiing in the nearby winter sports resorts. Or you can go rock climbing, or try paragliding, caving and free climbing .
The more relaxed can take easy excursions to the various hamlets of the municipality of Bagni di Lucca, visit the local villas and walk in the footsteps of the nineteenth-century English Romantic poets.
Or going up the Serchio Valley, you can have wonderful experiences, visiting the beautiful karst caves, the Orecchiella nature reserve with the Botanical Garden.
Last but not least, but only for reasons of space, are the various mountain lakes, then Barga, one of the " 100 Most Beautiful Villages in Italy ", Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Castiglione, both towns with beautiful walls and a medieval historic centre, surrounded by a veritable myriad of charming villages, ancient churches, sanctuaries and evocative hermitages.
As regards Bagni di Lucca, the various owners of commercial and public businesses organize parties in the square, or in the centre of the town, with music, entertainment and food tastings.
