On Saturday, October 24, 2026 (9:00 PM), the historic and elegant Municipal Casino of Bagni di Lucca in Ponte a Serraglio will open its doors to the free concert "An Evening at the Opera," one of the most prestigious events of the Il Serchio delle Muse festival. In Europe's oldest casino, once frequented by Giacomo Puccini himself in search of inspiration, the immortal arias of Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, and Mascagni will resound.

The great performers of the evening and the young talents on stage

Under the artistic direction of Maestro Massimo Salotti, the evening will offer a program of the highest artistic profile:

• The exceptional cast: soprano Valentina Boi, baritone Massimo Cavalletti and tenor Claudio Sassetti will perform on stage, accompanied on the piano by Salotti himself.

• Promoting young people and local excellence: In addition to tenor Sassetti, an artist with deep ties to the Serchio Valley, the very young pianist Jacob Ke, recent winner of the international "Città di Lucca" competition, will make a special appearance. The evening will be hosted by Debora Pioli.
